Hello Tilda is a personal assistant for people who run a small business. You tell Tilda what is on your plate, she helps you think it through, and she keeps your goals and your plan in one place. If you choose to, you can also reach her by text.
What the text program is
When you link your mobile number, Hello Tilda sends you text messages tied to your account. There are two kinds: a one-time code to confirm your number, and replies from Tilda when you text her a question or she follows up on something you asked her to track. This is a conversational program tied to your own account. It is not marketing, and we do not send promotional blasts.
How you opt in
You opt in inside the app. On the “Text with Tilda” screen you enter your mobile number and check a box that reads:
“I agree to receive text messages from Hello Tilda at the number above: a verification code, Tilda’s replies when I text her, and check-ins I ask her for. Message frequency varies. Tilda starts a message on her own at most about once a day, and you decide the rest by how often you text her. Msg & data rates may apply, and Tilda’s replies by text use credits from your Hello Tilda balance, the same as in the app. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Texting is optional and is not a condition of using Hello Tilda. See our Messaging Terms, Terms, and Privacy Policy.”
On the screen itself, “Messaging Terms”, “Terms” and “Privacy Policy” are links you can open before you agree. We never check that box for you, and we never send a text to a number that has not opted in. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using Hello Tilda.

What you get right after you sign up
You enter the verification code we text you, and once your number is confirmed we send you one confirmation message. It is the same every time, and this is the exact wording:
“Hello Tilda: you are signed up for account verification codes and replies from Tilda. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply, and Tilda's replies use credits from your Hello Tilda balance. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel. Help: support@hellotilda.com”
After that, Tilda only texts you when you text her or when she follows up on something you asked her to track.
The details
- Program: Hello Tilda account verification and assistant replies.
- Message frequency: Message frequency varies. Tilda replies when you text her, so most of it is up to you. She starts a message on her own at most about once a day, and less often than that if you stop replying.
- Cost: Msg & data rates may apply. Separately from your carrier, Tilda’s replies by text use credits from your Hello Tilda balance, the same as they do in the app. Every one of them shows up in your wallet activity, so you can see what a text thread cost you.
- To stop: Reply STOP to cancel. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT all do the same thing, in any capitalization, on any message. You can also email support@hellotilda.com and we will turn texts off for you, which is the way to do it if you would rather write it in your own words. We act on it right away. The rules give us ten business days and we do not use them. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in.
- To start again: Reply START, UNSTOP or YES to any message.
- For help: Reply HELP for help, or email support@hellotilda.com. INFO works the same as HELP.
- Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
What Tilda texts back
These two replies are canned. They are the same every time, and this is the exact wording.
Reply HELP and you get:
“Hello Tilda: account verification and assistant replies. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel. Help: support@hellotilda.com”
Reply STOP and you get one last message, then nothing:
“You have been unsubscribed from Hello Tilda texts and will not receive more messages. Reply START to opt back in.”
A sample message
“Hi, it’s Tilda. You asked me to remind you to send the supplier quote today. Want me to draft it? Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
If you reply and Tilda does the work, that draft uses credits from your balance, the same as it would in the app.
